About Me
I want to first say a huge thank you for taking the time to check out my portfolio and consider working with me. My name is Lauren Cecilia Mims, I've been working in public relations and social media since 2013 when I live in Dallas, TX. I moved to Colorado in 2015 and have been executing successful social media and PR tactics for small and big business clients.
I grew up in small town Texas, but managed to work my way to Fort Worth for high school where I attended the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts. My time at this outstanding charter school is what really shaped me to love visual and performing arts. I would eventually graduate from the University of Texas with a degree in public relations and a minor in theater.
After graduating, I spent time in Dallas working with small business clients while working full-time at FleishmanHillard, one of the world's largest agencies. My time there would be spent working on Google, Texas Oncology, Savor Dallas, AT&T, USAA and many others. The experience I walked away with is what landed me my job at Kroenke Sports & Entertainment managing social media for Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel, World Fishing Network, Guns & Ammo, Petersen's Hunting, MyOutdoorTV and many more properties.
When I'm not out being a total PR badass, I am enjoying my mountain life in Idaho Springs with my husband and our two dogs, Courage and Ollie.
